Case Study Number 1.

Colorado Lifestyle Real Estate was contacted by a retired doctor and his wife inquiring about Aspen. They had been to several Colorado Resort towns over the past decade skiing and seemed to like Aspen the most. They also enjoyed horses and the doctor had recently taken up fly fishing.

They had seen real estate prices in Aspen escalate over the years and were disappointed they had not purchased something earlier. After looking primarily in Aspen on their own, they had not found what they wanted. We had a discussion with them about what they really wanted from a lifestyle perspective and suggested they expand their search.

We provided information to them about the communities between Aspen and Glenwood. We then introduced them to a Realtor who specializes in equestrian properties in the Carbondale and Basalt areas. They now enjoy their second home with acreage and are about to purchase 2 horses.

They have but a short drive for skiing at Aspen, Buttermilk and Snowmass. And the doctor has many options for 'gold medal' trout fishing in the Roaring Fork River valley.

 

Case Study Number 2.

Colorado Lifestyle Real Estate began working for a couple from Boston that decided they were going to "retire" in Colorado. Both had been in the corporate world, were "empty nesters" and wanted a change in lifestyle. They wanted to keep working, but for themselves, not their previous companies.

They were familiar with several Colorado Resort towns and knew a smaller resort town could offer them the amenities they were looking for without the negative aspects of a large metropolitan area.

We helped them focus on their needs, provided information to narrow their search and connected them with several people with whom we have had relationships with for years.

They aquired both residential and commercial property in their chosen town. The husband now enjoys running his own consulting business from home and his wife has purchased a retail business in town.

 

Case Study Number 3.

An elderly couple from Arizona had not been able to enjoy or even visit their condo in Steamboat for years because of health reasons. They contacted Colorado Lifestyle Real Estate for assistance in selling their property.

We were able to connect them to two Realtors who specialized in condo sales in Steamboat. They interviewed both, selected one and their condo sold quickly.

They then took the proceeds from that sale and purchased a second home in Sedona, AZ, allowing them to once again enjoy the benefits of a second home.
